Metadata management in the real world open science in France: Data policy can make a difference

Arianna will take us through the background to the French policy before discussing the main findings of the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research’s recent report, and key learnings about the role of higher education and research institutions in open science policy.
Alina Danciu will explore the impact of the policy on data sharing and prospects for further progress. She will also focus on the call for projects for Réso 2024 (Research on Open Science Practices and Stakes) of the French National Research Agency, one of the first to be open to data managers as well as principal investigators.
