Portfolio Development: Games
Portfolio Development: Games is a comprehensive 5-day short course, designed to equip participants with the essential skills and knowledge needed to create content for a games-based portfolio for pursuing education and/or a career in games design.

Who this course is for
This course is open to all people interested in computer games, no special skills are required but basic computer literacy is expected.
The Portfolio Development: Games course is recommended for those who would like to submit portfolios to the UCL Media BA programme or other film-related courses.
Course content and structure
Students will be guided on the development of a simple game. The game mechanics will be pre-defined but students will add their own creativity during asset creation. Students will develop all core assets themselves.
Teaching will be in the form of a series of short lectures backed up by workshops (with one-to-one teaching where needed to ensure nobody is left behind).

- Understand and create basic game designs.
