A troubled cure for a troubled mind: Mental health and the idea of ‘therapeutic education'
Join this event to hear Emma Williams explore the question of ‘educational cures’ in the context of the youth mental health crisis.

Emma will discuss influential arguments on therapeutic education from various thinkers, where she finds a troubled conception of both cure and the human mind. This will lead her to exploring a more constructive conception of educational therapy.
This in-person event will be particularly useful for those interested in mental health, philosophy of education and therapeutic education.
