Examining multilingualism in the intersection of psychology, neuroscience and education
Join this event to hear Gigi Luk discuss her research programme in multilingualism that spans the subjects of psychology, neuroscience and education.

Multilingualism is an interactional experience between an individual and her environment through multiple languages. Research in multilingualism involves multiple disciplines.
Gigi will illustrate how linguistic diversity in a child’s proximal and distal environment shapes language acquisition. From this interactive perspective, she will show how language development and learning are revealed in neuroimaging data among adolescents and how these findings are related to state-level education data, including special education.
This in-person event will be particularly useful for researchers.
