In this seminar, Ana will bring together insights from childhood studies, the anthropology of ordinary ethics and feminist studies of care.
She will draw on two qualitative studies carried out in Chile to highlight how these ethical orientations arise in the context of children’s particular concerns about the economic and domestic overload of their parents, understandable given the conditions of existence in Chile in a context of intense neo-liberalisation.
This in-person event will be particularly useful for researchers, students and those interested in the ethics of care and childhood.
