Over the past decades, higher education globally has been driven by three conflicting developments: massification, its role in the global knowledge economy, and internationalisation.

The speakers will explore global higher education and how it has been characterized by inequality, its competitive and neoliberal nature, and the dominance of the Anglophone/European systems. They will also discuss several crises, from tensions between nations to climate change and other pressures.

This online event will be particularly useful for researchers, policy makers and students.
