VIRTUAL EVENT: No two universities can ever be the same: the variety of the student experience
In this webinar, Richard Budd will present findings from a research project about the student experience.
We know about ‘the student experience’, particularly around social class and gender. But less so on other background dimensions such as sexuality, race and disability. We also know a certain amount about students’ lives in marketised systems.
In this webinar, Richard Budd will present findings from a project that explored social and political questions about the student experience. He will also discuss the influence of a university’s organisational culture and geographies on these experiences.
The session will expand how we think about the student experience more broadly and help us to better understand the different ways universities mediate it.
