We are delighted to announce the launch of the Centre for Education Policy and Equalising Opportunities (CEPEO).

The newly formed centre produces practical policy research to design and inform evidence-led education policy to improve life chances for disadvantaged people across the life course.

We’ll be joined by Professor Robert D. Putnam, Malkin Professor of Public Policy at Harvard University, for the UK launch of his forthcoming book ‘The Upswing’, and a discussion with CEPEO Director Professor Lindsey Macmillan about the challenges in delivering practical policy research to tackle unequal opportunities.

This will be followed by a drinks reception for informal discussions.
