Before joining the IOE in 2003, John taught in inner London secondary schools for twenty years. He is the editor of the journal, ‘Changing English: Studies in Culture and Education’.
Catherine gained her PGCE in History Education at the UCL Institute of Education, taught for 15 years in England and abroad, then returned to work in teacher education at the IOE in 2011.
