The Centre for Global Higher Education (CGHE) annual conference returns for its fifth edition in 2020, taking place this year at the University of London’s Senate House.

This conference features the 2020 Burton R Clark lecture on higher education given by Dr Roberta Bassett, Global Lead for Tertiary Education and Senior Education Specialist at the World Bank. It also features keynotes by Chris Millward, Director for Fair Access and Participation at Office for Students and Professor Simon Marginson, CGHE Director.

Other events throughout the day include a panel on higher education and sustainability led by Professor Tristan McCowan, and several parallel sessions on a variety of topics, including the public good, student debt, academic work, and graduateness.
