The action-research set out to explore the impact of verbal feedback approaches on student engagement among disadvantaged students in years 7 and 8, and was led by UCL's Access and Widening Participation Office in partnership with the London Centre for Leadership in Learning and Ross McGill from Teacher Toolkit.
This report launch will consider the outcomes of the research and impact on both students and teachers. The event will also launch the Verbal Feedback Toolkit, which outlines practical ways of embedding verbal feedback into classroom practice across all subject areas.
