The long-awaited review into post-18 education and funding, the Augar Report, was released in May and has reignited debates across higher and further education.
In this special event, members of the CGHE research team analyse the strengths and weaknesses of the Augar report and discuss the future of HE and FE across the country, including relations between them, and the systems of tuition and student support.
The discussion will include the cost of Augar, its impact on governance, its influence on different academic fields, and specialised insights from the further education sector.
After the short presentations there will be ample opportunity for an audience Q&A with the panel.
