Dr Domenico Sergi's anthropological research is about refugees' journeys through the Mediterranean Sea. Drawing on this work, a group of refugees from RefugeeYouth and Pan Intercultural Arts will also perform artistic pieces and audio installations.

'CCÀ SEMU, here we are. Lives on hold in Lampedusa', is a film about how the people from the Italian island of Lampedusa deal with the challenges of the so-called Mediterranean migration ‘crisis’, while trying to respond to the local struggles of their isolated community.

This film was funded by UCL Seed Funding and UCL Grand Challenges Justice and Equality and produced by Dr Michela Franceschelli.
