This will be followed by a discussion focusing on the politics of implementation and how global frameworks on gender, education and poverty are interpreted and enacted in local settings.
Dr Jenny Parkes, UCL Institute of Education, will chair the discussion, alongside Amy Parker, Relief International, as the discussant.
The book, 'Education, poverty and global goals for gender equality: how people make policy happen' is published by Routledge (2018).
