About us
We are an internationally recognised centre of inclusive education, based in the Department of Psychology and Human Development at IOE, Faculty of Education and Society – the world leader in high-quality research in education.
We work closely with the community of practitioners, children, families, policy-makers and businesses to produce excellent research that has a positive impact on society.
We deliver evidence-based consultancy and continuous professional development, nationally and internationally.
We have a broad understanding of inclusive education. We focus on providing access and facilitating full participation in education for all children and young people, with any intersection of protected characteristics.

Activities
We work closely with our community of stakeholders to produce excellent research that leads to a positive impact on society. We also deliver evidence-based consultancy and continuous professional development nationally and internationally.
Our stakeholders include, for example:
- disability and neurodiversity advocates
- people with disabilities, special educational needs, neurodivergence and/or environmental risk
- parents and caregivers
- practitioners in education, health and social care
- local authorities, policymakers, charities, international organisations, and governments around the world.
