Ensuring equitable access to and experiences of parental and associated leaves at UCL
This project aims to examine the uptake of various forms of leave available to UCL staff with care responsibilities for children.
This project is being conducted by the UCL Human Resources teams and researchers in the UCL Social Research Institute (SRI) and will run from October 2022 to September 2023 and is funded by UCL Grand Challenges.
This is a mixed methods study: reviewing employee data of the take-up of leave; a survey of colleagues who have taken parental leave in the last five years; and qualitative interviews of those who have taken and those who have facilitated parental leave.
