SRI is home to a critical mass of scholars working on migration and related issues, representing different disciplinary perspectives.

SRI is home to a critical mass of scholars working on migration and related issues:
- transnationalism and diasporas

- democratic cultures, activism, and citizenship
- identity, belonging, and conviviality
- transnational religion, and
- intergenerational relations and migrant youth.
We represent different disciplinary perspectives, including anthropology, sociology, social psychology, history and the arts, and draw on a range of research methods.
SRI colleagues work with scholars across UCL through the Migration Research Unit, and SRI co-hosts the international peer-reviewed journal Migration and Society.
