Inequalities
Inequality, in all its dimensions, is a major concern across the world. Income equality has increased within countries and risen globally since the COVID-19 pandemic.

We have more awareness of ‘the haves’ and ‘the have-nots’ as wealth accumulation is increasingly unequally distributed. But inequality is not only about money or financial resources it is also about access to education, care, food, health, and basic public support services for living a good life. Inequality deeply influences everyday life in families, households, and communities.
SRI research covers many dimensions of inequality underpinned by rigorous quantitative and qualitative research methods. Multi-disciplinary social science researchers also investigate the intersectional nature of inequalities. With external partners and scholars from across the world we aim to provide new knowledge, insight, and solutions to promote social inclusion and justice for all.
