UCL BiLingo

UCL BiLingo is a UK, UCL-based Education and Information Service. We aim to provide the most up-to-date research-based advice, information, support and advice on childhood bilingualism/multilingualism and learning English as an Additional Language (EAL).

Healthy Linguistic Diet

Dr Dina Mehmedbegovic-Smith has developed a new concept Healthy Linguistic Diet as an innovative approach to language learning, based on her research. Healthy Linguistic Diet has been endorsed by the EU Commission in their report: European Commission, Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture, Rethinking language education in schools, Publications Office, 2018 , as one of the recommendations to the member states.

It has also been used for teacher training in EU member states and as a regional strategy in Italy.
