This podcast series celebrates the academic excellence of the work carried out in IOE’s Department of Psychology and Human Development, and the impact this work has on policy and practice. In other words, how does Psychology make a difference?
This series of podcasts, ‘Psyched about Education’, celebrates the 120th anniversary of IOE, UCL’s Faculty of Education and Society by showcasing key aspects of the work carried out within its Department of Psychology and Human Development (PHD) and some of its constituent research centres. A further podcast looks at the history of PHD and the emergence of its unique focus.
These podcasts will be released daily from 21 February 2022.
About the Department of Psychology and Human Development
The Department of Psychology and Human Development (PHD) brings together staff with research interests encompassing psychological approaches to mainstream and atypical learning, development and teaching from early childhood to adulthood. It is the only university department in the UK devoted to developmental psychology, particularly as regards its application to education and other real-world settings.
