MPBE Clothes Swap Event

The Medical Physics & Biomedical Engineering (MPBE) Sustainability Committee have organised an eco-friendly clothes-swapping event. The event takes place on Tuesday, 6^th June, from 11 am - 2 pm. This is the perfect opportunity to sort out your clothes, get ready for the summer and get some new ones in exchange! The event is open to all MPBE students and staff.

When do I bring in my preloved clothes?
You need to bring a maximum of five good quality clothing items to the 2^nd floor MPBE Reception. You can drop your items off from Monday, 22^nd May, until the morning of the event (6^th June). When you drop off your items, you will receive ONE token per item that you 'donate'. So, for example, if you drop off four items of clothing, you will receive four tokens in exchange.

How do I purchase items at the clothes swap event?
When you drop off your preloved clothes, you will receive a token for each item you 'donate' (maximum of FIVE items per person). One token allows you to purchase another item of clothing for free! So, if you donated three items, you would receive three tokens, and you can then get three 'new' items of clothes at the event on 6^th June. Essentially, one token = one item of clothing.

What if I don't have any clothes to swap?
On 6^th June, you will be able to buy tokens for £1. One token will allow you to buy one item of clothing.

Where is the event being held?
On Tuesday, 6^th June, between 11 am and 2 pm, please come with your tokens (or cash!) to the 2^nd Floor MPBE Reception. The preloved clothes will be ready for you to browse!

What will happen to any clothes that are left at the end of the event?
Any items that are left at the end of the clothes-swapping event on 6^th June will be donated to a local charity shop.
