Janna Sylvestersen, Occupational Therapist, Master of Gender and Culture. Associate Professor at VIA University College, Department of Continuing Education: Social Work, Occupation and Health.

Janna is teaching nurses, occupational therapists and other professions in rehabilitation and person-centered care & occupation related to persons with dementia. Janna is co-author of articles and textbooks about rehabilitation, occupational therapy, ethnicity and how to plan and lead group activities with persons of old age. Janna is providing CST training to professionals and is the coordinator of the Danish CST trainer activities.

Karen Tannebæk, Specialist Occupational Therapist in Gerontology, Director of the Education Department at Danish Dementia Research Centre

Karen has worked in the dementia field in over 20 years, both as dementia consultant, as manager in dementia care, and she is now director of the education department at Danish Dementia Research Centre. Karen has extensive experience from running group interventions for people with dementia, including CST groups. She also has extensive experience in conducting training and education activities for healthcare professionals within the field of dementia, including supervision and courses on a large variety of topics such as rehabilitation and psychosocial activities for people with dementia, challenging behaviour, dementia friendly care homes, person-centred care, and management in dementia care. Karen coordinates and is part of the team at Danish Dementia Research Centre who conduct CST education and training activities for professionals in Denmark.

Ulla Vidkjær Fejerskov, Occupational Therapist, Dip. Dementia, Master of Adult Learning and Human Resource development, Advisor at the Education Department at Danish Dementia Research Centre

Ulla has worked in the dementia field since 2002 as occupational therapist, dementia consultant and education advisor. Ulla has extensive experiences from running group interventions for people with dementia, including CST groups. She also has a lot of experience in educating healthcare professionals on a large variety of topics, e.g. psychosocial activities for people with dementia, physical activity for people with dementia, education and support groups for people with dementia and caregivers, and management in dementia care. Ulla is an experienced part of the team at Danish Dementia Research Centre who conduct CST education and training activities for professionals in Denmark.

Laila Øksnebjerg, MSc, Neuropsychologist, PhD, Associate professor Department of Psychology, University of Copenhagen.

Laila has worked within the field of dementia since 2006. She has a broad interest in psychosocial and cognitive interventions for people with dementia. She has a lot of experiences in running interventions for people with dementia, including CST groups, and long record of educating, training and supervising students and professionals in these topics.

Signe Pertou Ringkøbing, Neuropsychologist, MSc in Neuropsychology, Copenhagen Memory Clinic

Signe has worked within the field of dementia since her MSc graduation in 2015, and before that as a student assistant and intern in the Copenhagen Memory Clinic. She has a broad interest in post-diagnostic interventions for people with dementia and their caregivers. Signe has experience in running post-diagnostic support and education activities for people with dementia and family caregivers, and other group-based psychosocial interventions, including CST. She provides education to other healthcare professionals in relation to these methods. Signe is part of the team at Danish Dementia Research Centre who conduct CST education and training activities for professionals in Denmark.

Camilla Pelsen, Occupational Therapist, Dementia counselor in the municipality of Koege.

Camilla Pelson image
Camilla is supporting and guiding people with dementia and their caregivers (professionals or next of kin) in care homes and in their own homes. She is teaching in topics such as person centered care, low arousal, communication and activities of daily living. Camilla is educated in dementia care mapping and tactile stimulation. Camilla is actively running CST groups and providing CST training to professionals, within the framework of VIA University College.
