CST provision
CST is provided in some Dementia Care residential and semi-residential Centers, and Memory Clinics across Italy. A national web site is available to offer information and training opportunities on CST
CST research projects
Manuals on CST and iCST are available, a multi-centric study on a large sample (225 people with mild-to-moderate dementia from 16 Italian residential care homes or day centres) is concluding. The CST-IT group is working to disseminate the CST protocol across Italy and to include this intervention in national guidelines, as recommended interventions for people with mild-moderate dementia.
