Fernando Perez Garcia presents TorchIO
17 November 2021
Over the summer our CDT PhD student Fernando Perez Garcia presented his work at the PyTorch Community Voices webinar series and was interviewed by Facebook developer advocates.
Fernando was invited to talk about his research and the development of TorchIO. TorchIO is a popular open-source software library to process multidimensional medical images in deep learning applications. It accelerates experimentation by providing researchers with well-tested domain-specific tools, so they can focus on the machine learning experiments instead of implementing custom low-level preprocessing elements. TorchIO is downloaded more than one thousand times a week and used by hundreds of researchers around the world.
