We invite scholars, policymakers, and practitioners worldwide to collaborate on urgent research into how financial systems can be reimagined to address global challenges.
Visiting Research Fellows
Each year the Centre for Capitalism Studies hosts a number of non-stipendiary Visiting Research Fellows. These are an opportunity for post-doctoral, mid-career and senior scholars to engage with the CCS, attend our events (e.g. seminars, workshops and conferences), present your research and participate in a research community. Read about our current VRF programme.
Postdoctoral fellowships
Members of the CCS leadership team welcome expressions of interest from potential postdoctoral researchers whose work aligns with our research and the aims of the Centre.
Applications will be managed by academic departments and processes vary slightly across the institution so please contact members of CCS directly for more information.
Policy consultation
CCS is dedicated to influencing policy debates on financial justice, democracy, and the climate crisis. We work closely with national and international policy organisations to drive meaningful change.
Our doors are open to research collaborations and policy consultations with third-sector groups, advocacy organisations, and think tanks. If your work aligns with our mission and you’re interested in partnering with us, we’d love to hear from you. Reach out to us at a.komporozos@ucl.ac.uk to explore how we can work together.
Activist in Residence scheme
We would like to hear from activists and organisers who feel that their work aligns with the interests of the Centre and would benefit from possible collaboration. The residency might provide space and time for research, for a series of workshops and other events, or different types of creative output.
We are currently seeking dedicated funding to offer to activists who take up the residence scheme. But in the meantime, we are open to exploring other modes of collaboration. Please get in touch with the CCS Director at a.komporozos@ucl.ac.uk for more information.
