IAS Octagon Fund open for applications

The Octagon Small Grants Fund supports UCL-based early-career researchers, including research students, from Arts & Humanities and Social & Historical Sciences. Apply by 12th January 2026

The Octagon Small Grants Fund will be offered in a limited capacity in 2025-26, and is open to PhDs and ECRs from the Faculties of Arts & Humanities, and Social and Historical Sciences.

The fund can cover a variety of research activity, including artistic-academic collaborations, theme-based conferences, seminar series, workshops or symposia.

Up to £500 is available per application. The deadline for applications is Monday 12th January 2025, 23:59
