Call for Visiting Research Fellows at the UCL Centre for Capitalism Studies (CCS)
3 March 2025
We welcome applications from post-doctoral, mid-career and senior scholars. Apply by 2nd June 2025.

We welcome applications from post-doctoral, mid-career and senior scholars to become non-stipendiary Visiting Research Fellows at the UCL Centre for Capitalism Studies (CCS) to spend between three months and one year with us in the 2025/26 academic year.
We will provide shared desk space, membership of the CCS and Institute of Advanced Studies (IAS) research communities, onsite access to UCL resources including the library, full participation in CCS and IAS events (e.g. seminars, workshops and conferences) and a framework in which you can present your research and participate in a research community.
In return, we ask that you make a case as to why being at UCL will be beneficial for you and how, in turn, you will contribute to the CCS. We would expect you to be on UCL campus at least once/week during term-time, but we will consider alternative arrangements in exceptional cases.
Please note, in order to access to UCL’s IT systems and e-resources, Fellows will also have to go through a UK Right to Work check. Those who don't have Right to Work can still apply, but you will not have a UCL email or access to UCL e-resources.
If you wish to apply, please e-mail the following to Lucy Stagg, lucy.stagg@ucl.ac.uk, by 2nd June 2025:
- A completed application form (download as a pdf or as a Word doc)
- A short (two-page) CV
- A sample article or book chapter, already published, in PDF format.
