Play Written by Former IAS Creative Fellow Nicola Baldwin on BBC Sounds!

We are very proud that We The Young Strong, a play written by former Creative Fellow and Visiting Research Fellow, Nicola Baldwin, and perfomed during her IAS Creative Fellowship in 2019-20 at the Bloomsbury Theatre, was broadcast on BBC Radio 4 today and is now available to listen to on BBC Sounds.

Inspired by archive testimony of young WWII Defence Regulation 18B detainees, this drama reveals Britain riven by marginalisation, radicalisation, austerity and fake news.
