IAS Postdoctoral Fellowships: EDI in the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences

UCL Institute of Advanced Studies (IAS) invites applications for two Postdoctoral Fellows on an appointment of 12 months to begin on 1 November 2021.

The IAS  will convene a Research Hub in 2021-22 to explore the cultural and intellectual aspects of inequalities in Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (AHSS). This initiative will produce policy proposals as well as academic outputs to contribute to developing a new generation of intellectual leaders in work on Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in our fields. Two separate but related pilot projects will be conducted by two Postdoctoral Fellows during AY 2021-22. The Fellows will spend 50% of their time on their EDI project and the other 50% working towards a publication from their doctoral research, with support from an IAS mentor. The two, equally important, purposes of these posts are i) to facilitate EDI research in this area; and ii) to support two talented ECRs in equipping themselves for an academic career.
