The IAS, UCL’s Cities partnerships Programme and Université PSL (Paris Sciences et Lettres) are pleased to invite proposals for funding for new collaborative research projects of three years that include a focus on the arts, humanities and social sciences or interdisciplinary projects between these areas and the natural sciences, technology, engineering and mathematics. Projects will bring together academic staff and doctoral students from across UCL and PSL member institutions.

Projects should refer to, expand upon or draw novel links between existing research themes within the institutions including PSL’s IRIS and the IAS’s research themes: "Growth", "Traffic" and "Waste".

Each of these new collaborative projects would benefit from up to three years of funding, in the region of £10,000 per year. The duration of funding provides scope to develop a longer-term project and to firmly establish relationships between partners. The project team should have a core membership comprised of at least two established academics from each institution.  Read more about the call and apply here.

Please note that the deadline for applications is 15 January 2021.
