The Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences at Peking University is delighted to announce that applications are now re-opened for the inaugural year of its Visiting Research Fellowship scheme.
The Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences (IHSS) at Peking University is delighted to announce that applications are now re-opened for the inaugural year of its Visiting Research Fellowship scheme for the Institute of Advanced Studies, University College London (UCL) academics for the Spring Term of 2018-19.
The fellowships are offered as 1–3 month placements for:
- Candidates who have already held a PhD for a minimum of three years.
- Professors who currently hold the position of professor and exhibit a high level of academic achievements including an outstanding record of research publications.
- Scholars who at minimum hold the position of lecturer or assistant research fellow and have a promising track record of independent achievements within his or her area(s) of study.
Fellowships will be allocated according to time spent in the China and are non-stipendiary, but PKU will cover expenses for travel (one round-trip economy class ticket) and living allowance (including accommodation fees) of 2,0000 RMB per month.
