Marthe Lisson

Marthe Lisson is the Events Curator & Communications Officer at the IAS as well as the Editor of Think Pieces.

She graduated in Musicology and English Language and Literature from Goethe-Universität Frankfurt. She pursued additional studies in the History of Art and is a trained singer.

She has worked in Marketing and Communications at the Goethe-Universität Frankfurt and the Frankfurt Book Fair and has managed the London Art Book Fair at Whitechapel Gallery. She also works as a podcast producer (Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt, Whitechapel Gallery), writer (the Quietus, Konfekt, Aesthetica), lecturer (Johannes Gutenberg Universität Mainz, Universität zu Köln) and art tour guide (Schirn Kunsthalle, Frieze).

In 2020, she launched the music magazine The White Room. The Bee Gees are the band of her life.
