ABOUT THE BOOK
Culture and Science Education: Towards More Inclusive Practice examines the intersections of culture and science education, highlighting the ways in which teaching and learning are shaped by issues of identity, equity and justice. The book brings together scholars and practitioners who share innovative approaches to making science more accessible and meaningful for diverse learners. Through international case studies and critical reflections, it shows how culturally responsive practices can challenge exclusionary traditions and open new opportunities for participation. Aimed at educators, researchers, and policymakers, this collection offers both inspiration and practical guidance for creating more inclusive, relevant, and socially just science education.
Culture and Science Education: Towards More Inclusive Practice will be published on 16 April 2026 by Bloomsbury: Culture and Science Education: Towards More Inclusive Practice: Wilton Lodge: Bloomsbury Academic - Bloomsbury
