The workshop offers a moment to pause and reset the ears. Participants will be invited to explore listening both individually and collectively, considering how the ways we receive and attend to sound might shape how we relate to our surroundings and to one another. Led by Artur M. Vidal.
Free to attend. 15 spaces available — please reserve by emailing daisy.james@ucl.ac.uk
This event is Part One of two. See also Part Two: The Work of Being Heard
Both events are facilitated by Daisy James, Jacob Fabrikant Creative Fellow 2025/26. The fellowship research explores listening as a method within care practices, asking how everyday acts of maintenance and relational work are sustained through forms of attention — to people, space and sound.
Supported by the Centre for Health Humanities at the Institute of Advanced Studies, UCL.
