Please note that in order to book a ticket to attend this event you must be a member of the British Academy Early Career Researcher Network, unless you have been invited directly by one of the event organisers.

This day is envisioned to provide space for ECRs to work with others on their writing - this can be your next publication, job applications, grant applications or anything else you fancy!

The event runs from 9am - 5pm but you can join and leave anytime. Light lunch, snacks and tea/coffee provided.

  • 9.00 - 9:30: coffee,  introductions, post-it activity
  • 9:30- 11.00: BLOCK 1 writing
  • 11.00 - 11.30: break
  • 11.30 - 1:00: BLOCK 2 writing 
  • 1.00 - 2.00: lunch break
  • 2.00 - 2.30: word association writing activity
  • 2.30- 4.00: BLOCK 3 writing
  • 4.00- 5.00: wrap up, post-it feedback, future plans, networking
