All those interested in working with ethnography in relation to music are welcome to attend, especially postgraduate students and post docs. 
Each session will focus on a single piece of writing (pre-circulated) or a thematic intervention about music ethnography from one of our convenors or other colleagues, which will then be the point of departure for conversation. 

This seminar takes place at King's College London. RSVP is essential to gain access to the college's premises; please write to Georgina Born, g.born@ucl.ac.uk.

About the Speaker

Georgina Born

Professor of Anthropology and Music at Department of Anthropology, UCL

From 2010-21 Georgina Born was Professor of Music and Anthropology in the Faculty of Music, University of Oxford, and from 2006-10 Professor of Sociology, Anthropology and Music at the University of Cambridge. She had a professional life as a musician in experimental rock, jazz and improvised music.
