Whether you are still in the early stages of thinking something through, or already have something close to the final version, please come along and try it out in an informal setting. IAS Director Nicola Miller can see six people for 20 minutes. Please book a slot here: https://instituteofadvancedstudies.youcanbook.me/
In order to use the twenty minutes as well as possible, it would help if you sent your draft in advance by 9am on Tuesday 12 November. It would also be fine to bring something along on the day, but if so kindly print it out.
The IAS Surgery is an invaluable experience for anyone seeking tailored, insightful guidance on the highly competitive world of early-career academic applications. Professor Miller brings a wealth of expertise to offer constructive, in-depth feedback, suggesting those changes for clarity and impact that make all the difference in the academic job market. An essential session for anyone looking to create a more compelling and impactful job application.
