As part of UCL Space Week you are able to book a 1 hour session to see the Earth from space via virtual reality. Dr Annahita Nezami and Charlie Perrings (Founders of VROE) will lead small groups of attendees (3-5) through a 25-minute multisensory virtual reality experience analogous to the Overview Effect. The Overview Effect is a term coined by space philosopher, Frank White. It is considered a cognitive shift in awareness reported by some astronauts and cosmonauts during spaceflight, often while viewing the Earth from orbit.

After a 25 minute immersive VR experience participants will be invited to answer questions about their experience which will contribute to the research of VROE. This event is now sold out.

Disclaimer

Anyone with serious prior conditions will require consent from their physician/doctor, due to the awe component of VROE's pilot experience.  Participation is at your own discretion.
