On 8 June, UCL is bringing together key thinkers on social integration at an event held with the UK's leading social integration charity, The Challenge, hosted by the Institute of Advanced Studies. Speakers will be drawn from academia, think tanks, the media, policy and politics to debate some of the thorniest issues affecting modern Britain. Topics will include: integrating migrants, putting social integration at the heart of the policy and political process, measuring social integration and fostering integrated communities.
Speakers will include:
- Louise Casey, currently
leading the Prime Minister's review into social integration
- Jon Cruddas, Labour MP
- Sonia Sodha, Observer Chief Leader
