Ongoing Research
To develop safer batteries and supercapacitors technologies, it is essential to discover more suitable electrolytes. In a recent work, attractive performance was achieved with a more environmentally friendly alternative acidic electrolyte, methanesulfonic acid. The change of electrolyte drastically modified the electrochemical behaviour of the electrode, notably we recorded unprecedented large reversible volume change in MXenes in aqueous electrolytes.
