Code notes	1971-1985: 15-55 = Age at marriage space= Birth outside marriage 1986 onwards: 11-55 = Age at marriage (15+ if mother's birth place is UK) Note: 1971-1985: This is calculated using duration of marriage and age of mother at birth of child, both of which might have been imputed 1986-1989: Calculated using date of birth of mother. If age of mother is stated or imputed because date of birth of mother is not stated, age at marriage is calulated by subtracting duration of marriage from age at maternity 1990: Calculated using date of birth of mother and date of marriage. If age of mother is stated or imputed because year or birth of mother is not stated, age at marriage is calculated by subtracting duration of marriage from age at maternity N.B. For any years, if d.o.b. of mother and date of marriage are available, these are used to calculate age at marriage.
