Undergraduate Study

Although the Department of Information Studies is primarily a postgraduate school, we do offer a selection of modules on information and computing related topics at undergraduate level. The undergraduate modules presently offered by DIS are:

In particular, these modules are core components of the BSc / MSci Information Management for Business (IMB), taught jointly by the UCL School of Management, DIS and the Department of Computer Science. The UCL School of Management is the home department for this degree, which is sponsored by the government agency e-skills UK, and as such enjoys the benefits of full collaboration with top industrial sponsors. They are also offerred as optional modules of the Sciences and Engineering Pathway of the Arts and Sciences BASc, an interdisciplinary three-years programme that combines subjects from Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences and Engineering.

We also offer an introductory Digital Humanities module which is open to students across the Arts and Humanities, and Social and Historical Studies Faculties:
