UCL continues its tradition of holding Hackathons, and Mini #LearnHack-7.5 is taking place on Friday 14 June, 2024.

This is a day-long event that aims to bring together students and staff to work on small projects around the themes of Grand Challenges - cross-disciplinary collaborations to explore interconnected solutions to a range of societal issues.

This may be a good opportunity for all students to work on projects of their choice, establish wider networks, strengthen their CVs, learn new skills or just have a fun day learning something new in a collaborative environment with students and staff. This may also be a great space to test or develop ideas for further research or development.

The theme of this year’s Mini #LearnHack is Behind the Tech, where we could work on mini-projects focused on gaining a better understanding of technology, including Artificial Intelligence.

All are welcome, regardless of background and core skillset.

#LearnHack will run parallel workshops, give you space to form groups and work collaboratively, as well as ensure you have enough pizza and drinks to help you focus on your work.

Check the programme of #LearnHack 7.5, register to attend, or drop by the introductory online session on Thursday 16 May, 2024, 13:00 – 14:00, if you have questions.

Looking forward to seeing you at the Mini #LearnHack 7.5.

Best,

#LearnHack Team
