Royal Free and IIT launch Pears Building Community News

The newsletter will provide updates on the construction of the Pears Building, the new medical research centre where the UCL Institute of Immunity and Transplantation will be based.

The Pears Building project is a collaboration between the Royal Free London, the Royal Free Charity and UCL, which has received support from local residents and organisations such as the Pears Foundation, who donated £5million to the project.

Construction of the Pears Building is expected to begin later in 2017. Issue one of the newsletter features an update on construction progress, looks at the work of scientists within IIT relating to blood cancers, and also features a Q&A with IIT Director, Professor Hans Stauss.
