Dr Evi Tsaliki

I'm a Biologist, with an MSc degree in Applications of Biology in Medicine and a PhD degree in Human Molecular Genetics.

I participate in a UK birth cohort Study, a high profile and ambitious study - large in scale and innovative in design – which will follow more than 100,000 children through to adult life starting in pregnancy. This Life Study will be used to understand and improve the lives of UK children and their families and to inform health and social policies in areas of major importance to the lives of UK children now.

I'm highly interested in the factors that influence early microbiota colonization and the impact of early microbiota colonization on infant and long term health as well as in the prevention and the treatment of spontaneous preterm labor.
