This one-day event will bring together researchers from UCL and London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) with those from the African Health Research Institute (AHRI) in South Africa.

It will provide a great opportunity to find out more about the research undertaken at AHRI, and to explore the collaborative potential between these organisations.

The symposium will focus on three primary fields of research relevant to AHRI's activities: HIV, TB, and the methodology of cross-disciplinary team-based research.

A range of disciplines will be covered, including population-based methodologies, laboratory science, epidemiology, the social sciences, and research ethics. Speakers from all three institutions will present their innovative research and answer your questions.
