In Zurich, there were 1,351 deaths
from lung cancer over the study period (2000 - 2008). This figure
consists of 880 male deaths and 471 female deaths and is based on data from
the Statistik Stadt Zürich (Zurich Statistics Office). The
spatial distribution of mortality due to lung cancer in Zurich is
