In Stockholm, there were 2,722 deaths from
haematopoietic cancer (cancers of the blood) over the study period (2000 -
2007). This figure consists of 1,414 male deaths and 1,308 female deaths
and is based on register data from Statistics Sweden linked to death records from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare. The
spatial distribution of mortality due to haematopoietic cancer in Stockholm is
