Rotterdam: Homicide

In Rotterdam, there were 778 homicides over the study period (1996 - 2008).  This figure consists of 582 male deaths and 196 female deaths and is based on data from the Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek (Statistics Netherlands).  The spatial distribution of homicide mortality in Rotterdam is demonstrated in the maps below, shown separately for men and women.  For further information about how these maps were created, please visit the methodological section of the Atlas.
