London: Diabetes Mellitus

In London, there were 5,645 deaths from diabetes mellitus over the study period (2000 - 2008).  This figure consists of 2,833 male deaths and 2,812 female deaths and is based on data from the Office for National Statistics.  The spatial distribution of mortality due to diabetes mellitus in London is demonstrated in the maps below, shown separately for men and women.  For further information about how these maps were created, please visit the methodological section of the Atlas.
